Squier Paranormal Series Super-Sonic Graphite Metallic

First seen in 1996 as part of the Squier Vista series, the Super-Sonic was essentially a Jagmaster with a reversed body shape and an oversized reversed headstock. Keeping things even more unique was the 24" scale length and lack of tone-controls all of which the Paranormal series has retained for this latest rendition of the Super-Sonic.

A lightweight Poplar body is joined by a "C" shaped Maple neck with Indian Laurel fingerboard making this a very balanced and resonant. The 24" scale length makes stretching between frets a little easier and also reduces the string tension making it easier to pull off big bends and add plenty of vibrato.

The super-Sonic is fitted with dual Atomic Humbuckers which deliver rich driven tones that can handle some seriously high-gain and everything leading up to it. Rollback the independent volume controls to clean it up and you get nice sparkly and expressive cleans as well. Fitted with a Squier Vintage-Style tremolo system, 3-way pickup selector and a 1.5" bone nut.
