George Harrison is arguably one of the most overlooked guitarists of all time, as well as his obvious influence on the musical world. His work to promote peace in the world made him an internationally respected figure. Fender have now, for the first time, honoured the Beatles member by creating a limited run of the iconic Rosewood Telecaster he used extensively at the end of his Beatles career, including the infamous rooftop gig at the Apple Offices in Saville Row, London.
Limited to 1000 pieces worldwide this guitar features some slight difference from the original such as a 9.5" radius compared to the 7.25". What is more the body has been chambered for weight relief and resonance. We were lucky enough to acquire two of these magnificent guitars and were sad to see them both go so fast.
