A rare late ‘60s favourite has graced us with its presence here at Regent Sounds! This Kalamazoo-made Epiphone Riviera comes installed with a steady supply of magic in very good, players grade condition. Featuring the skinnier nut width of late 60s examples, forgive us if we repeat the ‘plays itself’ cliché here but it is just so appropriate!

A couple of changes have been made, including a refret, one non-original potentiometer and changed strap buttons. This Riviera has also been routed in the 1960s for a full-size bridge humbucker and currently sports a Bareknuckle PG Blues pickup. A stand out choice, the warmth and bite of the bareknuckle pairs beautifully with the sweetness of the original mini humbucker.

Good enough for SRV, and more recently Nick Valensi of The Strokes, it’s a real staff pick. As it happens they are also rarer than a 335 from the same era, with less than 300 made in 1968! Here’s your chance to own one as well, with the original hard case and our 3 year warranty included.
