Classic and timeless tone and feel with modern playability

The Player Series took the place of well-loved Mexican made Standard Series and retained the classic wood combinations of Alder and Maple and the immediately recognisable Fender tone. However, they have made a number of tweaks to keep this guitar at the top of the pile in this demanding market place price point. 

Body, Neck and Hardware

In classic Fender style and in keeping with tradition you have an Alder body to keep it lightweight and resonant. Paired with a 22-fret Maple neck for that classic Tele twang and response. A six-saddle bridge with block steel saddles offers better tuning stability and intonation.

The body is finished off in a Polyurethane lacquer which keeps the colour and appearance looking super vibrant for a much longer period of time. It's also more resistant to scratching so it keeps your guitar looking good for longer.

Pickups 

The Player Tele is loaded with Alnico V Tele Single Coil pickups. The Alnico magnets are a step up from its predecessor with a higher output and offer more warmth and depth to your tone. You still get the classic Tele twang along with a fuller midrange and highs that will allow you to cut through and really stand out. A great all-rounder that can be used for almost any style of music.
